TL;DR

Robin & Jonah started Wow House Studio in 2024 after leaving their corporate jobs, combining their backgrounds in marketing, web design and photography. They built the studio to create beautiful, high-performing websites that truly impress and help clients grow. Rooted in transparency, creativity, and strong relationships, Wow House focuses on working with people they believe in and delivering real business results.

We didn’t start Wow House because we wanted to build a design agency.

We started it because we were tired of watching good businesses settle for websites that didn’t reflect who they are or where they’re going. We knew we could do better. And more importantly, we knew we could make the entire process feel better, too.

This is how Wow House Studio came to be.

Before Wow House

Before we launched Wow House in early 2024, we were both working full-time jobs. Robin was a Marketing Director at an M&A firm, where she managed campaigns, budgets, branding, and logistics. Jonah was a creative at a marketing agency, building and designing websites. He had taught himself Webflow years before that and had also worked as a photographer. Visual work has always been his thing.

We met through mutual friends and bonded over hiking and the outdoors. That turned into a relationship, and eventually a partnership in more ways than one. We got engaged in Iceland in 2023 and decided soon after that it was time to build something of our own.

We both left our jobs in early 2024. We didn’t have it all figured out, but we were clear on a few things: we cared about quality, we liked working with good people, and we believed we could make websites that actually helped businesses grow.

Our First Client

Our first client was Speech Therapy PD. They needed a full site overhaul and we jumped in with design, strategy, development, and everything in between.

It was a big lift, but it confirmed everything we had hoped. The client was happy. The site performed well. And we worked together in a way that felt natural and efficient.

That project proved that this could work. That we could build a studio with our values at the core. That we could keep things small, focused, and personal, while still delivering high-end results.

And sure enough, less than 6 months after launching the new Speech Therapy PD website, they saw an increase in conversions by over 300%.

What “Wow House” Means

We chose the name Wow House because it captures what we’re trying to do. We want people to land on a site and say “wow.” Not because it’s flashy or full of animations, but because it’s clean, considered, and built to serve its purpose.

We also want our clients to feel wowed by the process. We don’t believe in vague timelines or unclear scopes. We give honest feedback. We explain our thinking. We’re responsive. We make sure the experience of working with us is just as good as the final product.

A Wow House project should feel elevated. On-brand. Strategic. It should include a few moments that surprise you. It should make your business look as good online as it is in real life.

What We Care About

We care about transparency. We care about doing things well. We care about making things easy for our clients.

That also means we say no sometimes. If someone doesn’t respect the process, or treats the work like a commodity, we’re probably not a good fit. We’re not here to churn out low-impact builds. We’re here to work with people we  like, on projects that actually matter.

And we try to make working with us feel simple. We’re clear on expectations. We show up. We bring solutions, not confusion. We care about the long-term, not just the launch.

“I started doing this because I liked making things that looked good. I kept doing it because I saw how much it could help people.” - Jonah Neuss, CEO | Co-Founder

What Makes Us Different

Most studios either lean heavy on the creative or heavy on the technical. We’re built to do both.

Robin handles logistics, strategy, and client communication. Jonah leads creative, design, and development. Every site we launch is thoughtful, clean, and easy to maintain. We don’t overcomplicate things. And we don’t walk away after it’s live.

If something breaks, we fix it. If something needs improvement, we’ll tell you. Our goal is to stay involved as your long-term design and development team—not just a one-time solution.

Where We’re Headed

We’d like to grow a small team over time. But even as we scale, we’re focused on staying hands-on and selective. We’re not trying to become a giant agency. We’re trying to stay focused on the work and the people.

One area we’re especially excited about is our 3D work. We’ve done a few projects in the automotive space where our 3D renderings made a huge impact. These weren’t gimmicks—they were thoughtful features that helped users understand a product in a new way. That’s the kind of work we want more of.

Final Thoughts

Wow House isn’t just our business. It’s a reflection of how we want to work and who we want to work with. We’re building websites that feel good to use and are even better to manage long-term. And we’re building relationships that go beyond the project.

We like working with good people. We like solving real problems. And we’re proud of what we’re building here.

Thanks for being part of it.
